Rules
of Association
b. The term of
office for all
committee
members shall be
two years.
c. The office of
a member of the
committee shall
become vacant on
the resignation
of the said
member or
absence without
apology for
three
consecutive
meetings.
d. Casual
vacancies on the
committee shall
be filled by the
vote of a simple
majority of the
membership at
the next meeting
of the
association.
e. A quorum of
the committee
shall consist of
half of the
committee and
shall include at
least one office
holder.
f. Decision
making shall be
by consensus
unless a formal
vote is
requested, then
the motion must
be formally
moved and
seconded.
A general
meeting of the
association
shall be run by
the Chairman or
his delegate and
a quorum shall
consist of the
office holders,
half of the
membership of
the committee
and an equal
number of
ordinary
members.
Meetings shall
be held at a
regular time,
date and place
and changes to
these times will
be notified to
members through
the association
newsletter.
Notices of
motion may be
made from the
floor of the
meeting.
Decision making
shall be by
consensus unless
a formal vote is
requested, then
the motion must
be formally
moved and
seconded.
The funds of the
association
shall be
operated by the
Treasurer and
the bank account
shall be a trust
account with the
signatures of
the three office
holders and
requiring any
two signatures
to operate. The
funds are to be
controlled by
ratification of
the committee.
