FROM THE HOT SEAT

Statistics from the 1996 census report 1358 homes in Koondoola and a population of 4004 people.  Council now updates those figures with an extra 22 dwellings to June 1999 and an extra 13 dwelling aprovals to June 2000.  This gives us 1393 established dwellings and an estimated population of 4179 people right here in Koondoola.

The City of Wanneroo now has 26,783 established dwellings and an estimated population of 80,349 people in an area of 493 sq Km and it is estimated to double in the next 10 years and double again in the next 10.  If we play our cards right, all those new ratepayers will ease our rates burden (if we maintain our presence in Council).
