Our Computer System
We have a LAN which comprises several machines linked through a Linux box to a modem to the net. They are all Pentium class of various speeds and configurations which slowly get the odd upgrade as time and money and other resources become available
Starting out as a interest of my own and then expanding to a need to provide for entertainment and enjoyment of my whole family as the importance of computers increased in our daily lives I began to learn to construct systems and learn software techniques unfortunately.
The LAN has proved useful where by I have been able to construct and place several community sites on my server which allows for those organisations which often are not able to have a presence on the net.
