Caring Hands
Did I feel a tremor in the universe today
When my friend nearly went away
Gosh I let it go almost past
Before the feeling hit the grass
Blinded by a fear so daring
Mostly I was badly caring
Sudden thoughts that led astray
Washed with flooded shades of grey
Miracles occur they say so true
If not would you now be you
Would the love ones still share joy
Could I just stare at there toys
Lost in madness on hells highway
Protected hands reach out to thwart the fray
Skidding monstrously close to death
Wait one minute hold our breath
Did that happen shock and pain
How will this person now sustain
Thoughts mingling strange confused
Tears flooding hugely used
Desperate struggle forlorn hope
Reach grabbing screeching grope
Look for warmth safe from pain
Feel the tears like flooded rain
Nightmare minds abound with fright
Help me make it through this night
Help me make it next day through
Love will suffer it be true
All friends’ spirits round the place
Is no shame or disgrace
Survival leaving one say why
Make the tears come cry cry cry
Heaven knows the reasons why
Spread the lessons far and fly
Grow new wings and sprout anew
Healing feelings from garden grew
God alone decisions make
Maybe just for heavens sake
Did he not guide your hands
Leave footprints washed in sand
