Running walking standing still
What brings us to the window sill?
To peer out across the meadows green
What wilful wonders have we seen?
Can we who sit and think aloud
Be honestly ever greatly proud
Moments pondering quiet thought
Never leave our side if caught
Venture outside the realm of glass
We must be as bold as brass
Seek further a field than most can see
Up upon the mind to joy and glee
Witness the good along with bad
Otherwise we would be eternally sad
Rather overcome the wicked spell
That holds us closely in the cell
Break out cry sharply look alive
Move outside the door and strive
Reach further past behind that tree
Can you see the deep blue sea?
Mountains ranging green and gold
Sun display of light will hold
Past the shadows sparkling array
Quietly down beside us clay
Sounds with visuals loudly cry
Spread across the wild reaching sky
Limits endless steps we take
Past the boundaries glistening lake
Unfold flowers in glorious colours
Adorn each field inspire others
Lasting infinite splashes aside
Do not ever let them hide
Learn each day and add the score
Or find ourselves staring at the floor
No doubts left inside the head
As we lay down to sleep in bed
Draw near the end of day has come
Did adventure become a part for some?
If not then tomorrow starts again
Perhaps adventure in the rain
