Dare to Believe
Courageous agony strength remains Fight for freedom there are no gains
That mount to treasures gathered lust Only good feelings with a single gust
The fellowship dwells deeply upon us all Least we shall nought to ever fail or recoil
On to the ultimate succession of the quest Do not stand around and be just a guest
Fellows of the ancient past have gone before Stop not for fear one must open the next door
Venture to be brave and conquer overcome Rush robustly to the peak not all but some
Pooling ripples merge outward blink Miss one more thought but at least think
Light shines over top the mountain Assumptions sprinkle like water from a fountain
Staggered are the moments slowly felt Safely tucked under the strong vast belt
Great expanses of sustained commotion Must surely ensure we have the right emotion
Ponder not the things we have seen Lest we falter in rapid belief so serene
Lend our imaginations to the fray Gather everyone believers all dare not stray
Reach out touch and feel the signs Savour linger taste longingly the wine
Past the lips and down slip slide go Proud we are so cry out like a crow
Raise the rooftops of those that doubt Joy and jubilation are there to shout
By singing and proclaiming the sight We must celebrate belief every night
Look quickly but deep into the heart Delay not for if mirrored may keep apart
Sensational denials end winding trail Hurtling top speed along fastest rail
From crib and cradle thirsty seed does start Like lightning fire you create the spark
Watch it grow emerging toe to hairy top Never put doubt and allow belief to stop
Fertility continues with tales and prose Just like water flowing out of a hose
A snippet here and there to encourage For future time create lasting courage
Yarns like this must come to an end Perhaps one such waits around the bend
But for now belief is to reach grasp and hold Take firmly both hands solid enclosing like gold
