Mum’s Special Day... 2002
From year to year my Mum is always near...
Mum
Another year has come and gone
Still your light has brightly shone
Yes you are always very kind
Forever present in my mind
Ups and downs of day by day
You stayed on top of some say
A promised cover of a book
With a bright and cheery outlook
Some days I recall times of infant care
Singing songs which made one fair
As thoughts transcend for some
In remembering tears do come
Of many happenings over years past
Stay tightly fitted in heart to last
Many precious feelings stored
Because after all you are adored
You fought the many tiding foes
Pushing past overcoming woes
You had an optimistic view
That kept you climbing true
So we come to another year
Fitted out you are with all the gear
To help you navigate months in turn
Until Mothers Day once again returns
With a wish for warmth and love
Just as a wing spread dove
A wisp of fresh breath comes your way
We hope you have an excellent day...
