A letter to Santa

 Dear Santa

 I have been seating here thinking about Christmas, you and all the folks at the North Pole. I do hope that Mrs Christmas, all the Elves and all the Reindeer are in good health, ready for the Season. Well I guess I have tried to be as good as I could be this year. I know I have done just a few things that have helped or made people happy or at least feel better. So I wonder if it would be ok if I could please ask for just a few things this year.

 I wonder could I please ask for peace in the world at least for this one day, thankyou.

 I wonder could I please ask for smiles on all the faces of the poor and sick children of the world just for this one day, thankyou. 

I wonder could I please ask if families where-ever possible might be together just for this one day, thankyou.

 I wonder could I please ask if each one of us might spare the time to think of others not so well off as ourselves, thankyou.

 I wonder could I please ask for us to love one another all around the world just for this time, thankyou.

  I wonder could I please ask that the Spirit of Christmas be like it used to be just this one time, thankyou.

 And lastly…

 I wonder could I please ask if my family could be a real family just this one day this year, thankyou.

 I know this is an awful lot to ask but nothing is impossible inside a miracle, thankyou.
